No Goodbyes by Barry Eaton

Insights from the Heaven World

No Goodbyes by Barry Eaton follows his 2011 book Afterlife. In No Goodbyes Barry Eaton challenges the readers understanding and thoughts of the spirit world whilst providing a read that informs, invites and entertains.

I have not read Afterlife but had no difficulties finding myself within No Goodbyes. The introduction and the first few chapters are written with clear explanation of Afterlife, but with enough individual personality and introduction to No Goodbyes so one does not get lost or bored.

Being a reader of intuitive and spiritual books No Goodbyes did not disappoint yet added to my previous knowledge and discovery. Psychics all have their own way of interacting and presenting themselves to the spirit world and Barry Eaton is no exception. Within No Goodbyes Barry presents the reader with insight and thought on the spirit world as he delves into ‘life’ after death, the growth of our soul and moving on into the next stage of our earth life.

During my reading of No Goodbyes I found my thoughts drifting to my own life and those of family and friends who have passed. I found my mind challenging my previous and current thoughts of the afterlife and challenging the information Barry provided. At times I  disbelieved what Barry had written, not in the sense of the feeling of total rubbish but in the sense of placing it beside my own beliefs. It is in this way that Barry Eaton challenges the reader, inviting them to step over to the other side and consider the journey of the soul in the heaven world and how they will live a life on earth that will compliment the path of the soul.

The back blurb states:

‘In No Goodbyes, Barry delves deeper into the mysteries of the spirit world and life between lives, and how they can influence our current life on earth.’

Having not read Afterlife I cannot comment on whether this sentence is true but can say that I did not feel as though No Goodbyes delved deeply into the mysteries of the spirit world but instead gave a laid back general read on the journey of our soul and the growth when we reach the heaven world. The comment in the blurb did make me want to read Afterlife just to see if No Goodbyes really does give us a deeper insight.

In No Goodbyes Barry relates to his late partner Judy, who he is said to touch base with in Afterlife. Within No Goodbyes Judy offers an insight into her advancement to a higher level within the heaven world. Her fascinating details about life on the other side drew me back to that of exploring Barry’s first book Afterlife.

Did I enjoy No Goodbyes? Yes totally but felt it lacked the little bit of oomph that other psychic books have offered. I wonder if this had anything to do with Barry Eaton being a mainstream journalist and broadcaster. My previous experience has lead me to find that those who choose this career path and then write a book tend to lack pizzaz and personality in their writing, leading to a dryer book.

Would I read more books written by Barry Eaton? Yes I would. Although a little dry I found the content to be informative and thought challenging. I will probably find myself reading Afterlife in order to answer the few questions I had whilst reading No Goodbyes and to go back and meet Judy from her initial introduction.

Overall a good read that is light, thought provoking and easy to read.
